How to take Shilajit
Dissolve a pea size chunk (quarter or third teaspoon - approximately 0.3g) of our 100% pure Shilajit in a warm or hot tea.
Do not microwave. If you need to warm the jar to loosen the shilajit then place on radiator for a minute or so, or with the lid sealed run warm water on the glass jar.
Shilajit tonic - digestive fire drink idea:
- Shilajit
- Chaga
- Ginger and Turmeric (powder or simmered in a pan of water)
- Salt and pepper
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Cayenne powder
- Lemon (a squeeze)

Sometimes, Shilajit can collect and adhere to the sides of the jar, or even to the security seal, rather than the bottom, giving the illusion that the jar is empty. Although very thick, Shilajit still behaves like a liquid—albeit a very slow-moving one.
The good news is, if you let the Shilajit rest in the jar, the right way up, for a couple of days (not ideal, I know!), it will fully settle to the bottom and come up to approximately the halfway mark in the jar - maybe let rest in a warm location (a few degrees above room temp DO NOT MICROWAVE nor COOK), to allow the contents to settle comfortably at the bottom.
We double-check the weight of every jar before dispatch. To verify, you can weigh it, bearing this in mind:
- Every glass jar without a lid weighs between 78–80 g.
- A jar with 50 g of Shilajit weighs between 128–130 g.
This should give you some reassurance :)
