Turkey Tail and Reishi clear 88% of HPV 16/18 in 2014 Study

I love how many of the mushrooms we offer have had thousands of years traditional use and now (in the most recent 20 or 30 years) have been studied for their effects and support of the human experience.

This quick blog post was inspired by Dr Robert Hoffman (DAOM, Lac Chief Academic and Clinical Affairs Officer).

The following is not medical advice, simply an expression of the results of a study by Bruno Donatini in 2014. 

The fascinating study (life changing for some), on Turkey Tail, Reishi and HPV (16 and 18) which are the primary HPVs that cause cancer.

The top and bottom of the study was that when people (it was a study on people rather than animals/test tube), drank Trametes versicolor (Turkey Tail) and Ganoderma lucidum (Reishi), 88% those with HPV 16/18 cleared it.

The study was conducted over 14 to 16 weeks.

The test also concluded that Reishi on its own cleared 5% of the cases and so it was the combo of Turkey Tail and Reishi that gave the result.
